Great Bowden Music Fest 2017

6th-9th July

Thursday 6th July 7:30 pm - MOSTLY MOZART

Including Eine kleine Nachtmusik,  String Quintet in G minor, K. 516, String Duo No. 2 K. 424 and Schubert’s Rondo in A major D. 438 with soloist Vanessa White.
 

Friday 7th July 7:30 pm - FROM STAGE AND SCREEN 

An evening of musical favourites showcasing the GBRT Adult Vocal Choir and soloists Tracey Richards, Beth Hodgson, Louise Oakley, Jonathan Painting and Jonathan Reynolds, coordinated by Patrick Oakley, accompanied by the Fest musical band.

Saturday 8th July 11:30 am - COFFEE AND CHAMBER MUSIC - Beethoven’s Kreutzer Sonata performed by violinist Christopher White and pianist Melanie Reinhard, as well as the Arensky Piano Trio no 2 in F minor with the Alegria Piano Trio.

Saturday 8th July 7:30 pm - ALL THAT JAZZ - with the Great Bowden Jazz Ensemble, welcoming back jazz legend Bill Coleman with Brian Dee, Bruce Adams, Alex Garnett and Clark Tracey,  presenting an evening of mainstream jazz classics as well as more adventurous items.

Sunday 9th July 12:00 - COFFEE AND PIANO - with pianists Petra Milarova and Melanie Reinhard performing Schubert’s Fantasie in F Minor for piano four-hands and solo works by Novak and Chopin.

Sunday 10th July 17:30 pm - ENGLISH SUMMER SERENADE - with the Great Bowden Camerata and the Harborough Singers with violinist, Christopher White performing Vaughan Williams' The Lark Ascending and other works by Elgar, Warlock and Handel.
